ZeroWater’s advertising strategy to date has focused entirely on the use of a wine filtering demonstration to visualize the product’s superiority. Our challenge was to conceptualize a new demonstration that clearly communicates the product’s superiority, but does so in a way that also builds brand affinity. Our strategy was to keep the narrative relatable and interesting so we produced three rough-cut demonstration videos and used AdLab testing to assess customer reactions on message communication and brand perception. Over the years we built a strong client relationship, producing several videos that performed directionally best for nearly all metrics and motivating the highest purchase consideration. As a result, donations and registrations for its fundraising races were plummeting. We created a national, multichannel campaign that showcased personal stories of breast cancer survivors across television, print and online platforms. After 18 million online ad impressions, 83 million national broadcast and cable television impressions, placements on the Today Show and CBS This Morning, print advertising placements in more than 25 magazines and a total of 1.1 million views, the number of donations started to increase. As a bonus the campaign was also featured on the cover of Advertising Age magazine.</image:caption>
